Have you ever had Korean beef before? There are tons of recipes on how to make Korean beef, but this one is my favorite because it takes only 4 easy steps, and it turns out amazing every time!
It's a simple, yet flavorful dish. This Korean Beef recipe incorporates two of the most popular Korean ingredients: soy sauce and chili pepper flakes. Not only does it taste great, but it is also fun to cook and can easily be made at home with just 4-easy steps.

This recipe has been my food staple. It's one of my family's favorite meals, and often requested. I love that it is very tender, slightly sweet, and you can adjust the spice to your own tolerance. Don't worry about having to make many substitutions for this recipe.
Korean Beef in 4 Easy Steps
¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium or not)
¼ teaspoon chili pepper flakes
1 ½ tablespoon brown sugar
3 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger or ½ teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon corn starch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 lb ground beef I used 93% lean
4 cups cooked rice
3 green onions chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, pepper flakes, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and corn starch. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté ground beef until brown and no pink left.
Add the sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the rice. Serve cooked Korean beef over Jasmine rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds.
